गुडग़ांव। महिला सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में प्रयासरत ग्रामीण फाउंडेशन इंडिया (जीएफआई) द्वारा एक सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने, मोबाइल कनेक्टिविटी, इंटरनेट बैंकिंग, लैंगिक आदि मुद्दों पर भी चर्चा की गई। इस सम्मेलन के आयोजन में बिल एंड मेलिंडा गेट्स फाउंडेशन का भी सहयोग रहा।
संस्था की एसोसिएट डायरेक्टर पूर्णा रॉय चौधरी ने कहा कि ग्रामीण का परिवर्तनात्मक दृष्टिकोण लिंग बाधाओं को खत्म करता है। बीसी नेटवर्क ग्रामीण का आई-केयर फ्रेमवर्क और महिलाओं के अनुकूल छोटे सेविंग उत्पाद को में मुख्यधारा से जोड़ रहा है। ग्रामीण अंतिम छोर तक वितरण सेवाओं के अंतर को पाटकर वित्तीय समावेशन में क्रांति ला रहा है। संस्था के निदेशक पीयूष सिंह ने कहा कि वित्तीय समावेशन केवल वित्तीय सेवाओं तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि वित्तीय निर्णय लेने और आर्थिक उपलब्धि हासिल करने के लिए व्यक्तियों और समुदायों को सशक्त बनाना है। कार्यक्रम को जयश्री व्यास, जिजी मामेन, चेतना पर्व सिन्हा, पवन बख्शी, सुनील कुलकर्णी आदि ने भी महिला सशक्तिकरण को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए संस्थाओं से आग्रह किया और कहा कि ऐसी योजनाएं बनाई जाएं, जिनका लाभ महिलाओं को आसानी से मिल सके।
